The Ed Banger guys are some of the coolest we've had the pleasure to hang out with. The three of them were switching off DJ duties at Anthem's La Fiesta De Fiestas: Coachella 08.

Darren met up with Perry Ferrell and his wife Etty backstage at this years Coachella Valley Music Festival. They were really into the Paul Frank line and here they are rocking the Black Transmission (Perry) and Pleasantly Pixilated (Etty).

Crystal Castles

Crystal Castles stopped by our office just before their show at the Detroit Bar. They and manager Mikey were total sweethearts and loved the collections. They were nice enough to put us on the guest list for the show and had they not, we might have missed the half riot they caused in the venue. The show was stopped for twenty minutes to clear the tiny stage of the 75+ attendees.

Here is Dallas Green of Alexisonfire in the Paul Frank Rx Beat Surrender. Dallas began a side project in 2004 called City and Colour, Dallas (city) Green (colour), get it? The laid-back acoustics of City and Colour is a far-reaching step from the quick guitar and screams of Alexisonfire. It may be time for the hardcore kids to step into their cocoons and emerge indie ballad butterflies.

Tommie is, in many eyes, one of the most credible DJ’s on the planet. He refuses to follow trends and plays music that suits his heart and his current state of mind. He’s introspective, honest and without pretence. We feel the sunglasses are inspired, unique and uh…well, they sure look good with Tommie’s funny beard…

Baumvision loves the Kaiser Chiefs not only because of their great music, but also their sense of humor. When lead singer Ricky Wilson was told that Oasis front man Liam Gallagher called the Chiefs “a bad Blur,” he was reportedly ecstatic to be the victim of one of Gallagher famous insults.

People were lined up around the block for the Closet’s fashion show at Fury in Irvine. The event took place to commemorate the release of the fall lines of some of their favorite brands.
