Leisure Society, The Wood Racquet Foundation, and Rolls Royce Motor Cars of Newport Beach hosted The 12th Annual Costa Mesa Wood Racquet Classic this labor day weekend. The annual tennis tournament and fundraiser raised thousands of dollars to benefit The John Wayne Cancer Foundation with the help of all the good people and companies that contributed to the event, with a special thanks to Team Duke, Paul Frank, and A Restaurant. Mark Philippoussis, Rob Machado, Kelly Slater, Bob Hurley, and McG all showed up to swing the wood racquet around, but the team of Zaccardo/Hansen left as this year’s Champions.
